Scalextric is to launch a Transformers set in conjunction with the new Transformers movie which is due to hit cinemas on the 4th of July.

The new set, will be in the Scalextric Micro 64:1 series.

The set will feature Transformers Bumblebee and Decepticon Barricade from the new movie and allow you to transform the cars to reveal the robots.

The cars will be able to flip up to reveal the robots. The robots arms will come out from the and allow you to play in Battlemode to knock the other player off the track.

The set is due out in early June, costing £40.

The Swindon Slot Car Show will be held at the Oasis Lesiure Centre on Sunday the 7th of January!

The show features 40+ tables from dealers, which will cover current cars and accessories aswell as obsolete slot car items. There will be racing and demonstartion circuits aswell as a bar and a cafe.

The meet is a great place for selling or swapping your spare cars and accessories.

The show is open from 10:30 - 15:30, Entrance fee £2 adults, £1 children.
